Package is build by

dpkg-buildpackage

The result is ctucanfd-drv_X.Y.Z_all.deb package. When it is installed then driver is build automatically for actual running kernel version and is rebuild for each upgraded kernel version in future.

Driver can be rebuild for specific kernel version by command

dkms autoinstall -m ctucanfd-drv -k 4.18.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
